“I would like to share my experience of my first two SCENAR treatments. I had experienced a very debilitating back injury in Sept. of 08 & had been unable to even consider a return to work. I had owned & operated my business for 17 years. Said business being a busy Vint On Premise & Gift Shop. In November 2009 I was invited by my Physiotherapist, Jackie O’Reilly of Infinity Physio, Rossland BC to participate in a demo for a SCENAR Training Course at which Alan Finston, PT OCS, ( www.whatcompt.com) was the certified SCENAR Trainer for RITM SCENAR Institute. I went with pretty much no expectations one way or another. I was having a fairly typical day.....pain level of about 6/10 in my back & 8/10 down my right leg ....... & this by Noon.

There were several physios at the Rossland SCENAR Level 1 Training Course. They evaluated how I walked before & after. I was amazed to say the least. Alan worked on me with SCENAR Therapy discussing what he was doing with the SCENAR Trainees on the course - I left that demo PAIN FREE..... & spent the afternoon playing with my 2 year old granddaughter..... & I mean playing....ring around the rosey etc. Things I had never been able to do with her since my injury. I did hurt again by the next day but I was not worried as I was going back for part two of the demo & after the previous days experience KNEW that the pain could be made to go away. This was the first real relief I had ever experienced! I did follow up with regular SCENAR Treatments to my Physiotherapist, Jackie O’Reilly (who is now a SCENAR Therapist) until my purchase of a SCENAR Sports Device. I am on a return to work schedule & did not expect that as a possibility.

I was referred to Whatcom Physical Therapy by my doctor for my scoliosis, in May 2010. Between May and August 2010 I had treatments by Alan Finston, PT OCS with a SCENAR. The results were nothing less than phenomenal. When I began treatment, I had begun to hunch over, and could not feel how to stand up straight.

Two sessions with a physical therapist recommending exercises and telling me how t stand was somewhat helpful, but I really could not translate the written instructions into the physical straightening of my shoulders. I asked to try the SCENAR. After only one session, I was standing up straight. The results were instantaneous and immediate. Somehow, my body now knew how to stand up straight.

I had 13 sessions with the SCENAR in all, and succeeded in regaining and inch and a half in height, but most noticeable difference was that I was standing up straight, with my shoulders held back, my head up, and my chest and rib cage forward. In addition to the SCENAR treatments, I was given a battery of exercises to perform, which I am still doing and will continue to do. I have been able to maintain my erect stance- every time I look at my self in the mirror; I am standing straight and tall!

I would highly recommend Alan Finston and his SCENAR treatments to anyone with back problems, any motion or pain problems. Working with your own body feedback, this little machine can truly work miracles!

Two years ago I was in a car accident that injured my lower back, right hip and shoulder-neck area. I have spent the last 2 years going through chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, family doctor giving cortisone shots, seeing a back pain clinic and having 2 rounds of a cortisone cocktail injected into my bulging disc and right hip. Nothing was working and the pain clinic said they didn't know what else to suggest for me. I left feeling pretty discourage. I have a friend that kept recommending the Scenar for over a year now. I was pretty skeptical of how this could work for me. I had already been to a physical therapist, what could this one do different for me? When I finally felt like there was nothing else I decided to give this a try. When I called, it took about 2 weeks to get in. I didn't know what I was going to do. I walked into the office not sure what to expect but praying this would help somehow. As Alan moved the device over my back, my pain started going away. I couldn't believe it! The relief was that quick! By the time I left the office I could not only walk, but I could bend over and touch my toes! Everything looked brighter and I felt so much better! As the weekend passed I used the rental model at home 3 or 4 times a day. I have noticed pain relief, weight loss and my depression gone. I was able to run errands, care for my family work in my home based business all in one day. Before it would take several hours to do just one of them! What a difference this has made in my life and the lives of my family! Their mom is on her way back thanks to Alan and Scenar!
